With 10Nm torque and a fast 27rpm speed, this motor is ideal for applications where responsiveness, strong lifting capacity, and fabric tensioning are essential. The built-in torque stop function allows the system to gently stop on mechanical stoppers at the top limit in side-channel systems and apply controlled tension when the blind is fully lowered. This makes it highly effective for zip screens, café blinds, and any external straight-drop system requiring consistent, reliable tensioning.

The motor includes a built-in receiver, electronic limit switches, and wireless limit setting, paired with an external antenna for strong signal range. It is fully compatible with RS001 and RS002 Sun/Wind Sensors, and includes Alpha’s automatic safety protocol: when an awning is down, the motor expects a sensor “heartbeat” every 20 minutes. If the signal stops (typically from a flat battery), the motor automatically retracts after about 30 minutes to protect the system.
