Like all motors in the WSER50 Universal Series, this model features Alpha’s signature torque stop function—a smart protective feature that detects resistance to stop the motor safely. This allows the system to stop on top stoppers in side-channel systems, tension the fabric at the fully lowered position, and avoid overstressing frame components. The motor includes electronic limit switches, a built-in receiver, wireless limit setting, and an external antenna for consistent remote-control performance.

The Alpha WSER50 50/13 Universal Motor is fully compatible with RS001 and RS002 Sun/Wind Sensors, enabling intelligent weather-responsive automation. When connected to a sensor, the motor expects a heartbeat signal every 20 minutes. If this signal fails (e.g., flat sensor battery), and the awning is extended, the motor automatically retracts after approximately 30 minutes, protecting the system from potential wind damage.

With a robust 45mm diameter motor body, a 600mm total length, IP44 weather protection, and wide compatibility with large tubes (63mm or bigger), this model delivers industrial-grade strength while maintaining smooth, quiet operation.
